Here we come a-wassailing among the leaves so green...
Wear bright colours, bring loud instruments and help chase away the orchard demons to ensure a good crop next year.Well! I did say the locals really know how to party down here! This I am going to - never before have I 'wassailed' and now that we have an orchard at Sandhill House Country House Retreat with B&B and self catering accommodation, I think we are going to have to learn what it's all about, as despite a better crop of apples this year it wasn't great. Perhaps we should start a Sandhill House 'Wassailing' tradition but in the afternoon so that we can have some lovely, mulled wine to warm us up afterwards.
