Thousand Kisses Deep at our very own local arts centre in Calstock which is just one train station from Gunnislake Station or about 2 miles away by car.
Renowned singer Christine Tobin has been a long time admirer of Leonard Cohen’s music. She is acknowledged as one of the finest interpreters of his work and has won the prestigious Herald Angel Award at the 2013 British Vocal Jazz Festival for ‘A Thousand Kisses Deep’ her tribute to Cohen.
Together with long time collaborators Phil Robson on guitar and Dave Whitford on double bass, Christine will take you on a journey through Cohen’s classic repertoire, with a few diversions to admire fellow Canadian songsmiths Joni Mitchell and Rufus Wainwright.
Tickets £13 in advance, £14 at the door. Doors and bar 7.00pm, show starts 8.00pm
