Well! The capital has been sitting on the floor ever since the tiler did a 'runner' and vanished but finally, with demand rising to stay in our beautiful home, Sandhill House Country House with B&B accommodation and the self-catering Tamar Orchard Barn, and our most popular room being 'the Room with a View', The Tamar Room, we just must get Room 2 up and running, because it also has a fabulous view right across the Tamar Valley, with not a single house in sight.
This is what the room looked like when we viewed the house, way back when............................
Blue ceiling dark wallpaper and dark curtains and carpet - not good, but the ceiling light is probably Georgian and is made from the most beautiful apricot pink alabaster! Excuse naughty boy Theo!
And the en-suite bathroom, another plastic shower and dated tiles.
So, much to do, but hopefully, in a couple of weeks time, if you 'follow' our blog, you will get a 'sneak' preview of what will be a truly beautiful "Room with a View".
