Calstock Real Ale and Cider Festival - 12 - 14 September

Sandhill House Country House Retreat B&B  is sweltering here in the Tamar Valley, Cornwall, with an Indian Summer heat wave, 21 degrees +  it is just so beautiful it is hard to describe with blue skies, fluffy white clouds and the most wonderful balmy warmth.

Better than Summer and it looks as if it's set to last through the weekend - out with the watering cans for the poor garden in September!

So don't miss the Calstock Real Ale and Cider Festival which starts on Friday and includes an outside bar, live music (our friend Dave 'the Drum' is playing on Saturday night), Morris Dancing - watch out for the Wreckers!!! and of course, duck racing.

The car parking is free though you can catch the train from Gunnislake Station at the end of our carriage drive and alight at Calstock, so you really can enjoy the festival to its fullest extent!!!! Only problem is we only have the Chapel Room available with our other rooms being fully booked.
