Well! After finally getting Sandhill House B&B Cornwall, back the right way up, we've had a little while to reflect upon our first ever Christmas Craft Fair. It was a truly magical day with 19 wonderfully creative and talented local crafts people booking 22 stands to sell their beautiful gifts. Having been somewhat anxious about whether anyone would turn up we were staggered to record somewhere in the order of 200 visitors, looking for that special gift, during the day.
We would like to say thank you very much to Sue Crocker for organising the event brilliantly on behalf of St Luke's Hospice and also a big thank you to the local community for 'coming out in force' and supporting the event so wholeheartedly.
Over £530 was raised for St Luke's from the stall holders stand fees, refreshments, the two St Luke's stands and donations and apparently the crafts people all had an excellent day, so what a fantastic result?
Well done everyone - great team effort!
