You should have received this last Thursday but bad old Google wouldn't uplift the video no matter how many times I've tried! So plan B at Sandhill House Country House Retreat with B&B accommodation is back to photographs but I don't have many because I was videoing!
On Thursday we brought a little more enchantment to Sandhill House B&B. After 16 months of sitting on the carriage drive, my Narnian lamp post, that we brought from Cardiff (long story), has finally arrived in it's intended resting place.
What a day! Sadly though it was all done remarkably easily, with the right mechanical equipment. Last time, the lamp post was raised in Cardiff, I hadn't laughed so much for a long time, watching 2 men use brawn over brain to raise the half a tonne of dead weight - I would have made a fortune if I'd put it on You Tube but it didn't exist then.
Hopefully, the grand switching on will be today, so that my Narnian lamp post will light the way for family and friends during Christmas.
