St Luke's Open Garden Day - tomorrow 4 May

Sandhill House Country House Retreat with B&B and self-catering accommodation is delighted to be opening our garden, once again, to our friends and the public on behalf of St Luke's Hospice tomorrow afternoon, 4 May between 2 - 5pm. 

The garden has been simply magnificent this year with the kinder weather and although the camellias are pretty much on their way, the rhododendrons and azaleas are coming into their own, with King George, a scented rhododendron being totally magnificent. 

The Embothrium coccineum has been magnificent for 3 weeks, having come out early this year, so we hope that it's still looking good, tomorrow. 

We are also very happy to confirm that The Rubber Band will be filling the air in the formal garden with the most wonderful music between 2 - 3pm and a secret but beautifully formed trio will also be providing music to allow you to drift away in the views from Sandhill House, whilst you treat yourself to a piece of home-made cake and a cup of tea. 

There will also be locally grown plants for sale and home made produce including jams and chutneys so we look forward to seeing you on the great occasion of our first individual Open Garden event.
