Sandhill House Luxury B&B arrives in Gunnislake, in the heart of the Tamar Valley, Cornwall

Well! The day has finally arrived when all the hard work has been worthwhile; one day I am going to add a 'Makeover' page, just to remind me of how bad it was! Our website has gone live and now all our friends are visiting it to see where we disappeared to over the last year. We disappeared to create a countryside haven  B&B and self catering or B&B barn, where people can escape from the pressures of life for few days of total relaxation and discovery.

Sandhill House is perfectly located as a gateway to both Devon and Cornwall; Dartmoor National Park is on the doorstep and we are in an designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and if that is not enough we are also at the heart of the World Heritage Site. Indeed, Sandhill House was the residence of the 'Dragon' entrepreneur of the day, John Williams III, who moved up from Scorrier and bought up the local mines in the area in the 1830s; indeed he ended up owning thirty three percent of the mines in the area. With industry at the heart of the development of this stunning area, we will be developing our history page over the coming weeks.
