GREAT excitment! Cornwall Today.

To those kind people who follow Sandhill House's country house retreat B&B blog I do apologise about the radio silence! The world had gone crazy is my only excuse! Busy, busy, busy on all fronts but all good.

But no matter what though I had to make the time to tell you some very exciting news. Following an article in Cornwall Today, (the best magazine I have seen and indeed it is award winning), about Scorrier House, which used to be John Williams home before he moved to Sandhill House, I contacted them to tell them about the Last Undiscovered Great House and Garden in Cornwall, because there was a direct link to the Williams story - they moved from Shropshire to start their mining empire in Cornwall, of which John Williams was a huge part.

Well! We have just found out that a space has become available in Cornwall Today's September issue for an article about Sandhill House's AMAZING history and our move from Cardiff to bring 'her' back to her former glory! We are so excited that at last Sandhill House, which was the mining hub of the Tamar Valley, the largest copper mine in the world, will at last achieve the recognition it deserves, after disappearing into obscurity long ago.

So make sure you put a note in your diary to buy September's issue of Cornwall Today.
