Stepping passed the Blueberry bush it's amazing to see what is flowering in September. |
Not sure what this is but the scent is just heavenly and it is so, so pretty and continues to flower for a long time |
This is another of the stunning Eucryphia in the garden but a different one the tall variety growing against the house.
Another beautiful lace-cap hydrangea - clearly the soil is very acid here because there are very few pink hydrangeas, though there is a stunning long flowering red one along the carriage drive.
This rose against the Tamar Orchard Barn has needed a bit of TLC this year but it seems to be paying off, with new, strong growth coming through.
The ever changing view from self-catering The Tamar Orchard Barn's private, dog friendly, south facing garden.
This poor clematis wasn't even apparent above ground in the Spring - well we are the 'slug capital of Europe' so not ideal for such 'tasty' species. Again, a bit of TLC and it's doing well cascading over the Tamar Orchard Barn's wall.
and the rose garden continues to thrive, with the second flowering of many roses. We did have roses on the south facing Barn wall on Christmas Day last year so here's hoping we will have roses on the Christmas table again this year.
